just got back from Midlothian.  We drove up yesterday to see my Oldest grandson play a Jet at Midlothian High School's production of West side story. He was wonderful. The show was outstanding.  The whole cast is to be congratulated.  The students playing the lead parts all had lovely voices and great poise.

Didn't get any quilting done this weekend.  But there is always tomorrow.

This my first post.  I am just learning and will be adding more thoughts on quilting, and sometimes golf.  I love both.  When I retired from teaching I took up both. Of course both are time consuming and expensive.  Now I have another job, and not enough time to spend on either.

I did just get back from a wonderful weekend at Smith Mountain Lake where the bienniel celebration of the Virginia Consortium of Quilters was held..  It is a long weekend of wonderful classes and food and just being with fellow quilters.
